Interested in volunteering? We love you!

There are lots of ways you can get involved with Board Stiff beyond just coming to the club meetings and playing games. You can volunteer every month or just once. You choose your level of commitment. We'll take you any way we can get you! :-)

Game Teachers

Do you have a cool game that you want to share?
Or do you know how to play a game that we already own?
Can you teach other people how play?

That's all it takes!

Game Teachers explain a game to other players as they play. You just explain the object of the game and general rules and then give tips as you go.

We prefer games for groups of at least four or more people. All games must be playable in 2 hours. If you have a game you'd like to bring, please let us know in advance.

Meeting Volunteers

We need people to help set up before meetings, tear down after meetings, greet members, etc. Just an extra 30 minutes of your time once a month would be a big help to us!

Meeting Facilitators

Help us grow! If you're willing to commit to running a meeting once a month, you can help us keep running and grow. Meeting Facilitators must be organized and absolutely reliable with good people skills.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We wouldn't exist without you and we appreciate everything you do for us.

We follow this plan twice a month.

Step 1 - The Call for Volunteers

Before each game night we send our email newletter with a call for the volunteers we need.

Step 2 - Volunteer Offers

If you can help, please reply to our email newletter with your offer.

Game Teachers, let us know what you're offering to bring/teach. Options are useful.

Step 3 - Confirmed Volunteers and Last-Minute Volunteers

If we reply to your offer, you are a Confirmed Volunteer. Thanks!
Last-Minute Volunteers are also welcome.
